  • 10 - ton Jib Crane HILITES February 9, 2007
  • LOCATION- approximately 30 feet south of the existing wharf ramp and on the east side of the roadway to the S.B.Y.C. Marina Wharf on Pleasant Street in Shediac
  • Loading and Unloading- Boats on trailers will be backed up to this location. A spreader barf strap system will be utilized to pick up boats off the trailer. Crane will rotate 180 degrees and lower boat into the marina basin.
  • Mast Hoist System- A separate mast! hoist system will be provided for installing and removing mast(s). It will consist of a vertical post, horizontal bar, electric winch, wire rope and pulley system
  • Management of Crane- A non-profit company made up of its chartered members will be responsible to finance, insure, operate, manage and maintain the jib crane throughout its working life.
  • Based on the success of campaign to raise up-front equity and bank loan in place by March 31 of this year, crane can be ready for use by mid-June.
