    History :
    - The earlier Sirius sailboats measured 21'. After a few years the transom was extended to better accommodate the weight of an outboard engine and it was called a 22'. Both models, made by Vandestadt and McGruer in Owen Sound, are known for craftsmanship and reliability. Made out of fiberglass with foam flotation, self righting when the keel is locked in place and with superior interior layout with pop-top, the Sirius is a boat that stands out in its class. However, it is no longer manufactured. The Sirius is one of the best boats in its size.
